Speaking for my section as Academic Rep
ES1 is 60 students. Nobody asked me for any of this. I wanted to make their year easier.

In October I became Academic Representative for ES1, my section of the MBA: 60 students.
Everything I have done in the role so far started as my own initiative.
The first was access to AI tools. It is something I wanted to work on from the start, because some other business schools already give their students paid AI accounts. That led to meetings with the academic team, with both deans, and to talks with OpenAI.
The second was ES1 Desk, a simple page that helps the section keep track of all our deadlines across classes. Every Saturday I also post a recap of the week's deadlines, so nobody misses one.
Behind all of it is the same goal: a smoother relationship between students and the academic team.
My job is to keep students and the school talking.
